Very good work done by D.k.Shivkumar sir….and good intiative that's Natural power production…and one more thing is creating more employment in KSPDCL.
proud to be in Karnataka
I live in Arizona and I think we can spare a few thousand acres of desert land with plenty of sun!!!
I couldn't clearly identify battery storage, is it included?
Great to see a 3rd world country stepping up!
im from pavagada & im proud of it…………
Such park should be in up, rajasthan too
Perfect apart from one thing, no trees in sight. 🙁
I think this fertile agriculture land like this one should not be used for solar generation.Rajasthan has ample desert land & Sun shine, would be better for Solar Power generation.
please mention the soundtrack 🙂
What a waste of land. Why can't they put them on top of houses. The span of those panels is bigger than my house. You could solve housing issues by making them a roofing technology. I bet most of the homes being powered probably have worse roofing already, probably corrugated steel sheeting.
wow green project from our Karnataka … clean and green better than fossil fuels
namma Karnataka wow
What's the total land?
looked on google maps… dont see it….. fake news? fund raising project? give specific details.
That means with 4250 square miles of solar powerplants you could power the world…
13000 acres is about 52 km2 which is abit smaller than Manhattan New York at 59 km2, or a square with just over 7 km sides.
I would install solar panels in the space instead and relay. Everybody is going to transform nowadays, but in massive scale it's simply not feasible. Battery cells are more harmful nowadays. We need better solutions, as this solar plant is not an ideal one, everybody can admit even if the land might be bare in most part of the year.
we shld all support these kind of innovation in india for better future hope we all see a developed india
The right place to put solar farms is not on land but on water bodies. That'll also prevent our rivers from drying up by global warming. This land could've been left untouched until further demand for city expansion considering rent prices in metropolitan cities are sky high.
13,000 Acres .. that is lots of land.. heard about land mafia ..!
Proud to find in 🇮🇳 India
Thanks to Congress GOVT for this development unlike those BJPigs who use communalism to get votes !!!!
how do you clean so many panels? I wonder the logistics involved
I can't believe this really happened
